Isha Upanishad 5
Isha Upnishad 5
He moves but is immovable, he is far but he is also near, he is inside everyone and everything and he is outside too.
Adwaita interpretations - He is immovable himself, yet he appears to be moving(for ignorant), he is far from those who are ignorant as they can't obtain him even in million years yet he is close to those who are knowledgeable, he pervades all, he is inside as well as outside of this world.
Dwaita interpretation - He strikes fear in others yet he is fearless himself, as he is omnipresent, he is far as well as near also inside as well as outside.
[ Here Madhavacharya took the meaning of एजति as one who strikes fear in others, but Shankaracharya took the meaning as a movement. If we combine Madhavacharya and Shankaracharya's reasoning we can obtain, "he moves others yet is immovable" so we can have a 3rd interpretation of this.
Brahm pervading as well as transcending everything is a core Vedic concept, straight from Rigveda 10.90.3 and Yajurveda 40.5(this same verse) That's why Sanatana Dharma is NOT pantheism as many claims, it is actually panentheism ]
