Story on NARK(HELL) / नर्क

Well, today I will take you on a journey where nobody wants to go i.e Nark. Hence beware of doing Adharma/Evil things. There are various mentions in Puranas about Nark, But my Thread is only as per Bhagwat Puran.

The evil deeds you perform and the type of Narak(hell) you suffer! As per our deeds, there are three types of people - Satvik, Raajas, and Tamas. The good and the bad deeds(Karma's) decide your final destination, Maybe Swarg or Narak.

Performing the prohibited Karma's are accounted as sins or Paap. Your Karma's are your gate pass to heaven or hell. Some believe there are 7 types of Narak and some count them as 28(As per Bhagwat Puran). Below all 28 types of Narak are enumerated along with the misdeeds.

तामिस्त्र- Usurping wealth and women not rightfully yours. अंधतामिस्त्र- Betrayal and extramarital relationship. रौरव- Selfishness. महारौरव- Carelessness. कुम्भीपाक - Cruelty. कालसूत्र - Torturing Parents असिपत्रवन - Against religion especially Vedas.

सूकरमुख - Inflict unnecessary punishment to others. अंधकूप - Killing insects. कृमिभोजन - One who is greedy. संदंश - Robbing gold from others. तप्तसूर्मि - Women having an extramarital relationship. वज्रकंटकशाल्मली - Sexual relations with animals.

वैतरणी - Royal people straying from their duties. पूयोद - Unbecoming behavior. प्राणरोध - Animal slaughter.

विशसन - Murder and robbery. लालाभक्ष - Perverts. सारमेदान - Looting & killing. अवीचि - Wrong testimony. अयःपान - Drinking intoxicated things during fasting. क्षारकर्दम - Does not respect others. रक्षोगणभोजन - Women eating human flesh. शूलप्रोत - Torturing & killing animals. दन्दशूक - People behaving like snakes. अवटानिरोधन - Keeping people imprisoned in a room or cave. पर्यावटन - Despising guests. सूचीमुख - Greed & Pride.

You travel from one Narak to the other as per your deeds. After you have absolved yourself from all your sins, then the only rebirth is possible.
