What is Geeta and what is its Importance?
Geeta is not just a collection of Shlokas, instead, it is a practical book. Every Shloka of every Adhyay of Geeta is complete in itself and helpful for attaining Brahmgyana, but for us to start adhyatma this Shloka is very good.
प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः। भूतग्रामामिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात ।।8।।
you may find word meaning but Geeta is a Gupta Vigyan, Someone who has understood it is Krishna, and someone who is understanding it is Arjuna.
Geeta has a social message as well as yogic meanings. I am going to tell you the way to attain knowledge from this shloka practically. it would take 15 minutes. Sit and close your eyes after taking bath and before having breakfast. Chant this Mantra into your Mann and repeat it 5 times. and think that you are not just a body, you are separate from this body, understand that your body is made up of 5 elements. Feel every element in your body. Feel that you are made up from Agni, Jal, Vayu, Aakash, and imagine you are being dissolved in light.
After doing Dhyan and chanting Swaha after every shloka performs Yajña 11 times or 108 times. It is not mandatory to perform yajña with Agni, you can also do that Inhale fully and chant this shloka in Kumbhaka and chant swaha at the end. Repeat this after inhaling it said Gupt yajña in Geeta. Do this for 15 days.
